Hand-Painted with a Taishō-era Spirit

The Taishō era (1912–1926) was a period when Western influence entered Japanese daily life, yet craftsmanship and care remained deeply valued. The rhythmic Tokusa pattern and playful color combinations reflect that balance - simple, practical, yet full of personality.

Each bowl shows subtle differences in brushwork, a quiet reminder that it is hand-painted, one by one. No two are exactly alike.

Crafted in Hasami, Nagasaki, a pottery town with over 400 years of porcelain-making history, these bowls are made to be used and loved daily. The size is just right for rice, miso soup, small side dishes, or even a simple dessert like matcha ice cream.
